What is beer cheese? I don’t know. Ok, I kind of do because it’s kind of obvious, but I neglected to try some from the bar menu at Cosmic Charlie’s in Lexington, KY while sipping cheap beer and watching These United States rock out. Beer cheese is some sort of spread made of beer and cheese, native to Kentucky, apparently. I do feel like I missed out on a cultural food experience. Kind of.

Watching Treme on HBO and feeling slightly melancholy. Lots of scenes in Candlelight Lounge. We went on Wednesdays when Treme Brass Band plays. Miller light. Only good times. New Orleans, you are so much more than your food, and I will miss you.
